Jennifer Aniston’s adorable dogs refuse to leave her side during her training

Sometimes dogs just can’t figure out the difference between work and play, and this is something Jennifer Aniston knows all too well. The Friends star has shared an adorable video on her Instagram Story showing her dogs Clyde and Lord Chesterfield trying to fit in some playtime during one of their exercise routines.

They are seen playing tug of war with a teddy bear and walking on Jen’s yoga mat as she valiantly tries to do reps with a dumbbell. At the end of the video, Jen is seen playfully ‘collapsing’ on top of Lord Chesterfield, a white shepherd mix, as she drops her weight, while Clyde, a gray schnauzer mix, takes the opportunity to rest his legs on his mat.

Jen’s other dog, Sophie, a black and white pit bull mix, appeared to skip training, possibly opting for a nap in the sun. A huge animal lover, the 52-year-old has had a dog by her side ever since she played Rachel Green on Friends.

During the filming of Friends, Jen owned a Welsh corgi named Norman, who sadly died at the age of 15 in 2011, along with a white German Shepherd named Dolly.

Jen adopted Dolly as a puppy in 2005 following her split from actor Brad Pitt. The dog passed away in 2019 at the age of 14. Just over a year after Dolly’s death, The Morning Show star welcomed Lord Chesterfield into her life.

In October 2020, she wrote on Instagram: “Hello! I’d like to introduce the newest member of our family: this is (a well-tried) Lord Chesterfield.

He immediately stole my heart. Many thanks to Wagmor Pets Dog Rescue for the amazing work you do. Grateful that you care so much for these rescues and find them their forever homes.”

Celebrating his first birthday last year, he added: “A year with my lovable, squeezable, I’ll call him… talkative (barks into the air), affectionate and not so little Lord Chesterfield anymore.”

Even though Lord Chesterfield is all over Jen’s Instagram page, it’s Clyde who seems to do most of the meet and greets in person, as he is often seen accompanying Jen on the set of The Morning Show.
